Filia Gi (Filias Land)
The Agrafa Mountains, next to the ancient river Kouralios (today named Sofaditis), extend down to the Thessalian flatland. Along the riverside at the temple of Athena Itonia, pilgrims, travelers, and merchants used to rest at Filia Village near a vast amount of vineyards that gave them the luxury to indulge themselves with the wines of the Thessalonian land.
In the following centuries the cultivation of these vineyards was remarkably increased. With respect to the local tradition (it's not by mistake that the brand depicts a heron, the bird of the rivers), the winery Filia Land, since the first day of its establishment, has made it its number one priority to provide Greek and Thessalonian varieties to those who possess the ability to appreciate fine wine.
The winery is surrounded by eighty acres of vineyard. Visitors will have the chance to take a guided tour at the vineyard and discover the different varieties. They will realize the true meaning behind the phrase, "The good wine is made in the vineyard."
