The wines of the Estate are available throughout Greece and are exported worldwide and are awarded medals and distinctions in international competitions and exhibitions each year.
One of the first "boutique" Greek wineries, which gave the motivation to small, independent winemakers to open their wings and to the big wineries to become more flexible and competitive. How far in front of his time was the Hatzimichalis Estate, shown by his logo, which has as a central element the turkey: in the early days of the estate's business, the Greek market was unmovable and unprepared for accepting the wines of a small and unknown - for the time of the winery from Atalanti, so sales were scarce and difficult. In the Estate there was a farm where turkeys were reared, and the proceeds from this activity supported the winery until the market "got ahead".

The visit to Domaine Hatzimichalis begins with a tour of the vineyards. The road is very difficult and only the four-wheel vans of the Estate can be tame, but the walk is beautiful and worth it.
