Klados winery Klados winery is a family growing business. It was started in 1997, by Manolis Klados who is a Chemist – Oenolgist. In 2007, the winery was relocated to a new modern building and the business was equipped with modern technology, in both wine making and bottling stage, enabling the processing of greater volumes and higher standards of quality. The winery is surrounded by a new organic vineyard, planted with the famous Rethymnian white grape variety of ''Vidiano''.
It is located in Panormo village, 25 km east of the city of Rethymno.
The renowned local red varieties of Liatiko, Kotsifali and the noble ones of, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, are vinified. Among the whites there are excellent local varieties of Vidiano, Vilana, Plito, Thrapsathiri, Muscat of Spina, and the noble Sauvignon Blanc.The wines are produced and promoted in bottles of 0,75lt and also in bag – in - box of 5lt, 10lt and 20lt.

Walk through the vineyard, the winery and the cellar
*Presentation of the art and science of winemaking
*Wine sampling, 4 wines accompanied with traditional Cretan bites.
Visit Cost: 3 euro
Children: no fee
The space is also accessible for handicapped people.
Visiting hours:
April 1st to October 31st: Monday to Friday 10 - 18 Hrs
Saturday 10 - 15 Hrs
For the period of November 1st to March 31st, and outside normal Hours, please communicate the winery for reservations.
