Domaine Petriessa
Αbout 1,5 km from the sanctuary of Artemis at Aulis in Evia and close to the borders of Vathi village, Domaine Petriessa is located among olives and cypresses. The well-equipped Greek winery stands out with its vinification capacity of 220,000 bottles of white and red wine.
At an altitude of about 220 meters, within the wine growing zone of Ritsona, lies a privately owned vineyard, covering an area of 21.50 ha (6.50 of them are vines of over 50 years old and 15 ha are newly planted vineyards).
It is situated among piney hills, olive groves and lush ravines. Good Agricultural Practices are applied, which plays essential role to the outcome.
The accurate sorting of grapes, the right harvest time, the quick transfer to the winery, and the use of classical vinification methods guarantee the most satisfactory result that makes the whole year worth the effort.
The Domaine produces white varietal wines, dry and medium-dry, as well as velvety reds suitable for ageing. One can find here the white varieties of Malagousia, Roditis, Assyrtiko, White Kondoura, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and the reds Black Kondoura, Agiorgitiko, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, as well as Grenache Rouge.
