Manolesakis Gennima Psihis, the family’s Manolesaki winery, operates in viticulture since 1989, a key period which coincides with the creation of the vineyard of Adrianis area in Drama. The winery is famous for its cosmopolitan French varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
George Manolesakis was one of the first who revived the art of vinification in this historical area. With the help of his son, Stavros Manolesakis, he occupies with the total operations of vines cultivation and wines. The whole process is performed with respect to nature along with process optimization so as to give vines the standard characteristics of the microclimate (terroir).
In 2004, the constant search led to new crops of Greek indigenous varieties such as Malagouzia, Moschato of Alexandria, Asyrtiko and Agiorgitiko. In 2008, new Greek varieties were added such as Moschomavro and Limnio.

In 1998, the winery’s establishments were completed, with a state-of-the-art production unit of 1500 sq. meters area, located at the heart of a privately-owned vineyard of 200 acres on the slopes of Adrianis, few kilometers out of the city of Drama.
The main concern of the owners is the production of high quality wines, exclusively from the privately-owned vineyard so as to highlight the particularities of every variety, in absolute harmonization with the mocroclimate and the vineyard’s terroir.
